4:05 PM EST - : AeroMechanical Services, Ltd.: has been selected and awarded a subcontract as a member of the CEDAR (Critical Event Detection And Reporting) consortium to support the OPTIMI (Oceanic Position Tracking Improvement & Monitoring) program. OPTIMI is one program being implemented by the SESAR (Single European Sky ATM Research) Joint Undertaking aimed at improving air traffic capacity and efficiency and reducing fuel burn and emissions in all European airspace. AMA's role as the sole consortium member providing data linking services will be to provide data and analysis related to AMA's patented afirs technology to provide continuous reporting of aircraft position and streaming of flight data recorder ("black box") data to the ground over the Iridium satellite system. An in-service evaluation of AMA's afirs FLYHTstream(TM) system, which is already deployed with AMA customers, is under consideration by the CEDAR consortium as part of the OPTIMI program.

4:03 PM EST - : Appleton Exploration Inc.: announced that drilling in the area of high grade gold mineralization in the Dialafara southern segment has discovered a zone of continuous gold mineralization with drill hole MDL09-073 intersecting 25 metres of 6.27 grams per metric tonne (g/t) gold at a vertical depth of 88 metres. Check screen metallic assays of the same interval returned 25 metres of 4.56 g/t Au. MDL09-073 was drilled on the same drill section line below three other holes. MDL07-001 and MDL07-002, drilled in 2007, returned 9.57 g/t Au across 9.0 metres and 29.07 g/t Au across 6.0 metres, respectively, and MDL09-072 returned 0.44 g/t Au across 13 metres. The four intercepts align and form a moderately dipping zone of continuous gold mineralization. The drill results suggest the gold zone is thickening with depth.

4:10 PM EST - : GreenShift Corporation: announced that its patented corn oil extraction technologies were featured prominently in the final rule for the expanded Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS2) published by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on February 3. GreenShift's patented corn oil extraction technologies enable GreenShift and its licensees to "drill" into the backend of first generation corn ethanol plants to tap into an existing reserve of inedible crude corn oil that has been historically trapped in the distillers grain co-product of ethanol production. This corn oil is a valuable second generation feedstock for use in the production of advanced carbon-neutral liquid fuels, such as biodiesel, biojet fuel, and renewable diesel , thereby enhancing total fuel production from corn, increasing ethanol plant profits, and reducing lifecycle greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

4:08 PM EST - : Stem Cell Therapy International, Inc.: announced that Histostem Ltd. of South Korea has participated in a study resulting in the successful treatment of spinal cord injury in dogs through the use of Multipotent Stem Cells (MSCs) derived from Human Umbilical Cord Blood (HUCB). The study, a collaborative effort between a team of doctors from the Departments of Veterinary Surgery and Veterinary Anatomy at Konkuk University, Seoul, Korea and Dr. Hoon Han, President and Founder of Histostem, presented a method for the percutaneous transplantation of stem cells and investigated the therapeutic efficacy of transplanting stem cells to improve the recovery of the central nervous system following such acute spinal cord injury.
